Welcome to Wilhelm Farm! Our farm is in North Granby, Connecticut. It is typical of many small farm and forest ownerships in southern New England. A subsistence farm historically, the owners emphasized family food production, local barter, and the economy of the household and community. The Wilhelm family also invested time in woodland management for firewood, timber and wildlife habitat over the past 80 years. The 45.6 acre farm includes soils that produce forage (hay & pasture), and quality timber. These resources led us to shift toward silvopasture and other agroforestry systems.
