Sven Pihl is the owner and lead designer with CT Edible Ecosystems, LLC. CT Edible Ecosystems, LLC designs and develops Multifunctional Regenerative Agricultural systems that increase biodiversity, enrich soils, improve water cycles, capture and store carbon in soil and aboveground biomass increasing product yields, creating resilience to climate instability, creating nutrient rich food for human, livestock and wildlife health, which in turn, strengthens ecosystem services. CT Edible Ecosystems design and implementation practices draw from scientific and applied research by the global communities organic farming, agroecology, Holistic Management, agroforestry and Permaculture Design. Sven Pihl is a polymath and autodidact personally directing his education through world leaders in Permaculture and Regenerative Agriculture to coursework at local colleges in Horticulture and Landscape Design to the University of Missouri and Yale for Multifunctional Carbon Sequestration Agroforestry.

His interests focus on empowerment projects that connect communities ecologically to their landscapes and food production systems. He has a special interest in working with specialty crops for ethnic communities and working with and supporting Military Veterans like himself.

Eugene Smyth is the Information Technology Director at The Hartford with extensive experience in the information technology field. Eugene is a respected Transformational Leader who is customer focused with strong technical, analytical and customer management skills. An effective communicator, he has the ability to convey complex technical concepts and ideas across a wide range of audiences. Eugene’s academic background includes a BA in Communication Science from UConn and training in Corporate Video Production From Southern Connecticut State University. He advises the team on equipment and will be reviewing scripts and video results.
